This is a top quality recumbent bike from a brand that's been around for a long time. The bike is a relatively heavy item at around 160 pounds. Most folks will need 2 people to move it to its final destination in the house. It's packed quite well and all the pieces arrived with no scratches or dents. It took about 10-15 minutes to completely unpack it and set the parts out for assembly. Installation was very straightforward. There is an excellent, well-written and full-size manual with detailed drawings and clear instructions for each section of the assembly. Included with the instructions are all the tools needed for assembly. The tools themselves are good quality and can be kept for later use for other projects. The manual recommends that 2 people should be used to assemble the bike. I was able to do it by myself but it's probably a good idea to have a second person for certain portions of the assembly. I would say it took me about 30-45 minutes to complete the assembly of the bike. All the pieces fit together quite well, further attesting to the overall quality of the bike. The bike is relatively compact and takes up about 5 1/2 feet in length, 2 feet in width and a little over 4 feet in height. There was a QR Code on the manual for a video on assembling the bike. However, at this time, the video was not available. There are about 10 pages in the manual dedicated to learning how to use the bike. Again, the instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. With the pedal resistance achieved through magnets, the pedaling was very quiet. All the functions are easily adjusted on the front panel with good size buttons. The screen is easy to read. The seat can be adjusted using a simple lever. The seat was comfortable and the backrest provided good support. One thing I liked is the fact that you can adjust both the resistance and the speaker volume from the hand controls on the side of the seat. You don't have to stretch forward and use the panel at all. Two other things worth mentioning are the audio and fan. You can connect your phone or tablet to the bike via Bluetooth. Pairing your device is as simple as pressing the Bluetooth button for a couple of seconds. Once connected, you can play your music through the builtin speakers and adjust the volume from the controls on the seat or the front panel. The fan has 3 speed levels. Also, you can set it to automatic and the fan will adjust its speed based on how hard you're pedaling. Lastly, the bike is iFit compatible. You can sign up for an optional iFit membership ($15 for the basic and $39 for the Pro). There is a 30-day free trial. This gives you access to thousands of pre-made workouts. These workouts can automatically adjust your bike to give you lifelike workouts. You can attach your own tablet to the front panel using the builtin tray. Download the iFit app on your tablet and connect to the iFit programs through WiFi. Overall, I'm impressed with both the quality and features at this price point. If you're looking for a top quality recumbent bike from a reputable company, I think this is the bike to get. Highly recommended. My rating method: ★ – terrible. I wouldn't consider buying it. ★★ – marginal at best. Doesn't meet the minimum requirements or quality to be useful. Buy it at your own risk. ★★★ – average. Meets the quality and requirements for a product of this type but is nothing out of the ordinary. If the price is good, I'd probably buy it. ★★★★ – better than average. Exceeds the typical quality of a product of this type and has a few extra features not usually found on other products of this type. I'd buy it. ★★★★★ – exceptional – far exceeds the quality of products of this type. Hard to beat the quality and features included. Best value for the money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it.

    It is great quality, worth the price, paid to have it assembled in my home, well worth it. I bought a less expensive one in the past, impossible to assemble and not sturdy. I use it everyday, having knee replacement and using it daily to sthrengthen my leg muscles.

    Great stationary bike

    I am recovering from recent femur surgery. Part of my rehab is riding a stationary bike. I researched a lot of bikes and decided on the Nordic track. I couldn’t be happier! There are a lot of options with speed and incline and it has a wonderful fan to cool you down! It’s compact enough to keep in a smaller space but absolutely gets the job done. Great workout! My husband put it together in a little bit over an hour with no issues. It’s a very quiet and easy to use. I highly recommend.

    Go directly to Nordic Track, don't buy this bike from Amazon.

    Don't buy. It's junk. After 3 rides the wheel has already started making bumping noises, the buttons on the arms for volume and resistance fell off and don't work. It also had trouble connecting with the bluetooth on my new iPad. Sometimes it's taken up to 8 or 9 times before it actually connected to iFit. The workouts on iFit are geared to bicycles, not recumbent bikes. The recumbent bike doesn't have any handlebars, so it's impossible to get out of your seat and pedal standing. Nordic Track doesn't even sell this model anymore. I wanted it assembled in my house, It was, but the assemblers took everything with them including the box and Amazon wants it reassembled and back in the original box. They also want to pick it up on your front porch, so be prepared to reassemble it and lug the 157lb bike to your front porch. I had to cancel the return. Never again.

    Good quality, easy to assemble. Only small issue is that I wish the seat was an inch or two longer. Fan is nice and Bluetooth connection lets you play your own music. Very quiet and smooth operation.

    This is a really solid exercise bike. I use it several days a week and get in great workouts. It’s not too hard to assemble. I did have one issue with one of the pedals coming loose, but bought some thread locker and put it on and no longer have the problem.

    Bike is useable and just okay – Not what I expected from NordicTrack

    Bought this bike since the 2 Schwinn recumbent bikes I bought finally wore out. This is good for tall people and has more than enough adjustment forward and backward. However, after assembling I took a 45-minute ride and the pedal arm on the left side came loose and started to wobble back and forth which came already assembled on the bike, so I had to stop and tighten it before using it again. Seems to be okay now. For a larger tall person, the seat is horribly uncomfortable. The seat back pushes me forward which makes the seat seem very small and is uncomfortable for longer rides. I have ordered a gel cushion to hopefully correct this issue. There is a bit more side to side movement/play of the seat, which is not expected. The beeping when you press a button is very loud even on the lowest setting, so I will be looking for a setting to see if that can be disabled. Assembly was straight forward and only taking about 20 minutes to assemble on my own. Would have been nice to have support handles on either side of the display panel as other models have since I have to readjust regularly due to the uncomfortable seat. As a taller person with size 15 extra-wide shoes the straps that are meant to support holding your feet on the pedals are absolutely useless, really wish there was an option get larger straps. Even still they are difficult to use and install. The mounting is a great idea but not useful at all, so I have removed them completely. The fan is not adjustable for directing the air and it doesn't blow where it is useful, at least for a taller person. Bought this brand since it is a quality brand before purchasing the much more expensive commercial grade machines. It would be nice if Nordic Track offered options for a different seat and seat back and made the fan direction adjustable. Lastly, the ledge to set your phone or tablet on is not very deep so if you have certain cases on your device hopefully, they are good at protecting it because they will eventually fall off. My two Schwinn recumbent bikes had built in heart sensors, and it was disappointing to see the NordicTrack requires you to purchase a heart monitor strap. I will be keeping the bike and using it as it is too difficult to disassemble and package back up to return. Overall, it is okay, but I expected a lot more from NordicTrack.

    Didn’t come with the cord

    I would have given it 5 stars, but the cord that was supposed to come with it, didn’t come in the box. Too much money was spent on this, to not get everything that comes with it. Had to order a different compatible cord separately. Other than that, the bike was fine, and my dad loves his Christmas present.
